These terms apply to all customers who purchase services from PaywallProject, whether through our website, invoice, or other direct agreement. By signing up or submitting payment, you agree to the following:

  1. Setup & First Payment
    The first month’s payment is non-refundable and covers the setup and initial build of your paywall and/or site.

Setup begins once payment is received.

  1. Recurring Billing
    Services are billed on a monthly or annual recurring basis, depending on your selected plan.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 15 days before the next billing cycle.

You may cancel at any time by emailing our Support team. Service will continue through the end of your current billing period.

  1. Refund Policy
    Aside from the non-refundable first payment, refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at our discretion.

We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time.

  1. Third-Party Fees
    You are solely responsible for any third-party fees, including charges resulting from bot activity or fraudulent attempts, such as those incurred via Stripe or other platforms.

We recommend implementing fraud prevention tools and rate limiting on all payment forms.

  1. Custom Development
    Requests for custom development must be quoted separately and may be declined at our discretion.

Clients are welcome to work with third-party developers at any time and are not locked into using our development services.

  1. Site Migration & Licensing
    Customers are free to migrate their websites at any time.

Licenses for third-party plugins and services used in our tech stack do not transfer upon migration. To continue receiving updates and support, you must purchase licenses directly from the respective vendors.

  1. Uptime & Access
    We aim to provide 99.9% uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance and factors beyond our control.

We are not responsible for downtime caused by hosting issues, third-party integrations, or force majeure events.

  1. Data Usage
    By connecting third-party tools (e.g., Stripe, Mailchimp, Google), you grant us permission to access the data required to operate and optimize your site.

We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data internally to improve services.

  1. Terms Updates
    These terms may be updated. We’ll notify you of material changes via email or in-app message.

Continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
